Here it is from a 10+ year vet of rockauto. they suck. you have a 30% chance of getting the right part and if it's wrong guess what your paying to send it back. The return process is very easy though. I have brought all of my cars to a dealer just to make sure that the information I'm putting in is correct and it is. there is NOBODY to talk to about anything. there is help but it is in the form of documentation and that's even wrong sometimes. i have lost so much money in returns the last 10 years. i will also say that i have had the same 3 cars during this time so it's not like i was switching it up or anything. bottom line is i'm tired of getting scammed out of money. They sell cheap parts but what good is a cheap part that's wrong and you pay twice for. I have defended them and even advertised for them to try to keep them around. Today is the day they will no longer get another dime out of me.

Just hope you never have to speak to someone live for support (e.g. you place an order and the 5% discount doesn't apply. The help site says not to worry just edit the order adding the discount. Does not work, should have cancelled the order and gone to Partsgeek which without the discount was cheaper on the same part...).

I just went through hunting down a fender liner and two engine bay splash shields for a 2014 Toyota Yaris. Dealer parts were over $600. Local after market distributor was $270 shipped. Rock Auto was $170 shipped for CAPA parts. The entire retail parts industry could learn a thing or ten from RockAuto.

Resistors can be repaired....you will usually find cracks in the wiring if you look close, you can re solder them....since each wire path is responsible for 1 individual speed, that's why you often lose 1 or 2 speeds at a time.

we you are right but if you system works on negative theory this won't help. What if your resistor only has power, ground, and signal wire? then the power flows through the motor to the resistor and then to ground. if the resistor is completely gone you will have power at the motor but it still wont run because the resistor robs it's ground.

hola.cuento mi ultima experiencia y ultima con rockauto.tengo que hacerlo en español por que no se ingles.realice 3 pedidos diferentes en 10 dias que suman casi 1000 euros en piezas en 3 pedidos diferentes.no leo nunca mi correo electronico.si miro paypal y no me encontre con los pedidos anulados.solo con un reloj en parte izquierda en mi paypal.pero al final vi mi correo por que el primer pedido no me llegaba y me encuentro que rockauto me manda email explicandome que por unas compras anteriores que hice me invita a comprar en otra tienda de repuestos y que anula el pedido para que paypal me reembolse el importe total de las 3 compras.pero eso era mentira.ni aceptaron compra y tampoco la rechazaron para que el sistema de paypal me reembolse el dinero.esta empresa acepta mis pedidos y luego me banea como comprador.asi es de fuerte. y entonces si me rechazan como comprador por que me dejan hacer pedido con mi paypal? por que no me bloquearon en su web para no comprar? por que me siguen mandando propaganda basura de sus repuestos si me desprecian como comprador? en resumidas cuentas que no me quieren vender pero si aceptaron mi pedido y mi pago de casi 1000 euros. entre mañana y la semana que viene formulare una denuncia a la OCU aqui en españa hacia rockauto.la ocu es el defensor del consumidor aqui en españa. paypal tambien tiene parte de culpa por que si no ve un envio hacia este producto que he pagado mi dinero tendria que ser devuelto enseguida.posiblemente tambien denuncia a paypal a la ocu. y mi banco por ahora no me ha dejado anular el pago que hice.lo intente pero me pidio fecha de cuando deberia haber recibido el paquete.pero como no ha habiado envio tampoco me cortan el pago. si entre rockauto y paypal y mi banco comenten el gravisimo error de que pierda mis 1000 euros entonces ya tomare medidas mas drasticas e ire al juzgado por ahora paypal me dice que recuperara mi dinero maximo el 13 de diciembre del 2023 pero por la canallada de rockauto ahora mismo estoy sin piezas y dinero.la canalllada por no anular los pedidos.pero tampoco aceptarlos ni enviarlos claro tengan cuidado con ellos.son una empresa lamentable

My cars blower won’t turn on unless the car is in accessory mode (not cranked) and on high. If I crank the car it won’t work on any setting. I replaced the resistor and blower, but no fix. All fuses are good. The resistor has 4 wires, when in accessory one wire has power but when cranked that wire loses power and another wire has power. If I sent the current over into the other wire then the blower motor will turn on (and will work on all levels) but if I turn the car off it won’t work when I crank the car back up. This has me stumped, any recommendation? The car is a 2013 BRZ limited (automatic)
